Installation Engineers
Register With Norfilms

Introduction

Norfilms's Freesat for FREE will offer new HD TV services to people throughout the UK and beyond.  Under the contract obligations agreed with Freesat Norfilms is required to provide a full and professional installation service to customers throughout the country.

This is your opportunity to share fully in the growth of the Freesat market and in the development of Norfilms's own satellite plans, which, subject to the success of this unique campaign offer, will include a new High Definition channel on Freesat in the near future.

While Freesat is available outside the UK, Norfilms cannot safely provide a full service to customers overseas, although Engineers may register for such additional territories if they wish.

Application for Approved Engineer Status

To apply for approved status with Norfilms you will be required to meet a minimum set of professional standards, including:-

  1. You or your engineers have undertaken full Health & Safety training.
  2. You or your engineers will have given a full criminal records disclosure and have no unspent convictions.
  3. You or your engineers will have the certified skill in one or more subjects qualifying you to undertake a successful installation to the standards laid down by Freesat.
  4. In most cases these criteria are already met if you are a licensed Registered Digital Installer (RDI) or a member of the Confederation of Aerial Industries (CAI), otherwise you will need to discuss this and your credentials with Norfilms.

NOTE: Norfilms will only recommend registered engineers to Freesat for FREE customers.

One Registration Per Site/Engineer

This registration process is primarily intended for local installation engineers. If you represent a large multi-site company then your registration will apply to only one site in one location.  If you wish to apply to cover many locations then you must make separate registrations per location and per engineer.

Norfilms Policy - Code of Conduct

Norfilms sets high standards of professional conduct and requires the same conduct from all contractors at all times. Any misconduct likely to bring Norfilms or its activities into disrepute or cause any form of material, financial or legal damage will result in immediate disqualification from further appearance on the list of approved engineers, and may cause legal action to be taken to recover any losses or damages.

If you are happy to proceed with your application and you have read the full terms of the Installation Engineer Agreement please complete the form below with your details.

NOTE:  Some of the contact details requested below will be used in creating a live link for your services on the Norfilms web site list of approved installation engineers.  The more information you provide the more effectively a customer can reach you.  Norfilms will not be responsible for any inaccuracies in your entries, so make sure you've spelt it all correctly.
