Installation Engineers
Register With Norfilms
Introduction
Norfilms's Freesat for FREE will offer new HD TV services to people throughout the UK and beyond. Under the contract obligations agreed with Freesat Norfilms is required to provide a full and professional installation service to customers throughout the country.
This is your opportunity to share fully in the growth of the Freesat market and in the development of Norfilms's own satellite plans, which, subject to the success of this unique campaign offer, will include a new High Definition channel on Freesat in the near future.
While Freesat is available outside the UK, Norfilms cannot safely provide a full service to customers overseas, although Engineers may register for such additional territories if they wish.
Application for Approved Engineer Status
To apply for approved status with Norfilms you will be required to meet a minimum set of professional standards, including:-

- You or your engineers will have given a full criminal records disclosure and have no unspent convictions.
- You or your engineers will have the certified skill in one or more subjects qualifying you to undertake a successful installation to the standards laid down by Freesat.
- In most cases these criteria are already met if you are a licensed Registered Digital Installer (RDI) or a member of the Confederation of Aerial Industries (CAI), otherwise you will need to discuss this and your credentials with Norfilms.

If you wish to apply to cover many locations then you must make separate registrations per location and per engineer.
